About Me

My name is Christopher Santiago and I from Houston, Texas. I am half Puerto Rican and half Mexican. I transferred to Texas State two years ago and I love it. I go to school and work at Brooks Brothers. I as well have a dog named Luna who just turned one in the month of April, she is a cream goldendoodle and loves to run outside.

One of the things that I love is watching sports. My two favorite sports are football and basketball but from the two I love basketball the most. Many people wonder why basketball and the reason is because the game reminds me of art. Anybody can go outside and shoot the ball and make a couple but to actually master the game is a different story.

I started watching basketball when I was in the 7th grade and never looked back. I enjoy watching Lebron James play. The way he carries himself on and off the court really shows you what it’s like to be an athlete and a human. If you want to look at someone who has mastered the game he is the perfect example.

As someone who wants to pursue a career in sports media I want to use my platform to show who these players really are and not what the media portrays them to be. I want to create great stories and talk about great takes. I know nowadays the media likes to build a player just to tear them down when in reality it shouldn’t be that way. It should build them up and keep them up there.

As you follow me through this journey I really hope you guys are able to grow with me and love the game as much as I do. Not only do I want to show the dunks, flashy passes and tough shots. I want to show you the daily life of an NBA player. The charity events, the practices, the late nights and early mornings these guys put in to become some of the best athletes in the world.
